1.       Happy Bay

Happy Bay is one on the most undiscovered beaches on St. Martin.
Take a 10 – 15 minute hike up hill along a path trail and enjoy a clear view of the ocean.
The beach is rarely crowed has no facilities and little shade and offers lot of privacy.
No bathing suit? No problem! As clothing is optional on Happy bay!
The trail starts at the north end of Friars Bay Beach

2.       Natural Pool

Don’t forget to wear proper shoes for this one.
This quiet rugged coastal nature trail will lead you to a natural pool.
Cool off after a rewarding hike but be cautious of the urchins.
It’s a 20 min. Hike which starts at the old basketball court of Back Bay, Point Blanche.
For seasoned hikers, not recommended for kids

3.       Lovers Beach

It’s all in the name. This intimate beach for two is the perfect romantic getaway.
Gorgeous white sand and crystal clear waters. All you need is love.
To find this tiny beach take the turn Friars bay from the main road. Turn left at the bridge. Then right to the ocean. Park at the ocean. Walk through the small gate on the left and walk up the trail. Look for a path that leads you down to the water.

4.       Baie Rouge

Baie Rouge is an unquestionable beautiful beach on the French side, St Martin.
Take a stroll on the beach, watch the sunset or enjoy one of the best snorkeling spots at Devils whole. You are able to park close to the beach. There is not a lot of shade

5.       Cupe Coy

Cupe Coy beach is a truly unique beach with cliffs that look like pure gold.  Enjoy the mesmerizing view of the stunning rock formations and Turquoise Ocean.

6.       Grand Case Beach Club

Grand Case Beach Club has two charming beaches with an intimate feel.
You can find this beach on the north side of Grand Case

7.       Le Belle Creole

Explore the ruins of what once was 5 star luxury resort La Belle Creole with a private beach.
Locals claim that the land was cursed because the Resort was built on ancient burial grave of the
Indigenous Arawaks.
Coming from Marigot, it’s the last road to the right before Bay Rouge. Park at the main road and walk through the gate.

8.       Baie Longue

As the name predicts this beach is a long stretch of beautiful white sand where you can truly have the beach all to yourself.
The public entrance to this beach is about halfway the road.

9.       Petit Caye Wilderness

One of the hidden gems is Petit Caye. Park at the French dump and hike for about 45 minutes along the rocky shore. just you the sand and sea. Make sure you hike back before sunset, wear good shoes and sunscreen. This is a moderate to advanced hike.

10.   Green key

Is a tiny beach on a small island 500 meters off the coast of Orient Bay Beach.
Go to Orient Beach at Club Orient and go for the long swim or find someone to take you there.
